One suggestion: Reverse the placement of the "Search People" and "Search ETSU" buttons on the main page. It's not a huge deal, but I often put a term in the search box and then, out of habit I suppose, hit "Enter." When I do that, it does a "People Search" rather than a term search. It would probably be more intuitive for "Enter" to "Search ETSU."
ReplyDeleteYou should also put a link to the Map off the campus on the homepage for the Freshman. FinAid, Scholarships, Admissions, Bursar's, and link to Fafsa and stuff.
ReplyDeleteI agree about reversing the "search people" and "search etsu" happens to me all the time too. Check out http://www.tntech.edu/ They recently updated their page. It has a lot of cool ideas.
ReplyDeleteI would recommend that the "Ask Me" information be placed on the main page since this addresses many of the student issues and because this data ia already compiled into one central location.
